{"id":1881,"date":"2023-04-03T20:18:46","date_gmt":"2023-04-04T02:18:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gruposasti.planetarojo.net\/mexico-will-build-four-wind-farms-in-oaxaca-with-the-united-states\/"},"modified":"2023-05-31T16:00:55","modified_gmt":"2023-05-31T22:00:55","slug":"mexico-will-build-four-wind-farms-in-oaxaca-with-the-united-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gruposasti.com\/en\/mexico-will-build-four-wind-farms-in-oaxaca-with-the-united-states\/","title":{"rendered":"Mexico will build four wind farms in Oaxaca with the United States."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The federal administration agreed to build four wind farms in Oaxaca in conjunction with the United States.<\/p>\n\n<p>Mexican President Andr\u00e9s Manuel L\u00f3pez Obrador stated that 10 industrial parks will be built in the Tehuantepec Isthmus corridor, and the construction call will be launched soon.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this regard, the President stated that the country is committed to having four out of those 10 industrial parks operate with wind energy.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>There is a commitment, if the conditions are met, for four out of the 10 parks to be used for wind energy generation.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>Additionally, the administration has committed to assisting Washington in combating climate change.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this regard, L\u00f3pez Obrador stated that a delegation of US legislators and Ambassador Ken Salazar will visit the Tehuantepec Isthmus in March.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;They will be with us on March 19th in the Isthmus and Veracruz; US legislators are coming with Ambassador Ken Salazar.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>Furthermore, the visit of the Special Envoy for Climate Change of the United States, John Kerry, is expected. He will make a visit to define the role of his country in the construction of the wind farms.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>And on March 21st, which I have to be present for, we are going, as always, to Guelatao. In the afternoon, after that event, that ceremony, we will go back to the Isthmus because it is likely that John Kerry will be there for the wind farms. <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>The purpose there is for the parks to be owned by the Federal Electricity Commission (Comisi\u00f3n Federal de Electricidad) and for the financing to be provided by the United States or US banks with very low or zero interest rates to the Federal Electricity Commission.
